when using a mailto:email@example.com?subject=blah link in a webpage, do spam bots just pick up the email address or do some pick up the subject line also?
I ask this as i'm yet to receive spam with the subject filled as directed by my coding!
Have i just been lucky?
thanks in advance for any info.

Considering the size of the spammers databases and assuming they would want to get rid of what is not needed, I would suspect that the majority of spam bots strip out anything after the "?".

i use Outlook 2002 but know very little of its capabilities. Is it possible to block all email from my domain name using a customised filter unless it has a specified ?subject=blah ?
