    indent discrepancies - ie and netscape

    I have a jump menu that indents subtexts fine in netscape but does not indent in ie. I have tried replacing padding for margin to no avail.

    Here is the css and a portion of the jumpmenu:

    select {
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 11px;
    font-weight: bold;
    }
    form
    {
    margin: 10px;
    }
    #optsub
    {
    margin: 0 0 0 10px;
    color: #008080;
    }

    -->
    </style>

    <form name="project">
    <select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,1)">
    <option selected>Navigation - Fauna Ibérica Project</option>
    <option value="<?php echo $ruta2; ?>proyecto/" id="optsub">Introduction</option>
    <option value="<?php echo $ruta2; ?>proyecto/proyecto_historia.php">History
    of the Project</option>
    </select>
    </form>

    any ideas how I can make the "optsub" style work in IE?

    Many thanks

    I do not think it can be done with CSS for IE. If you look at the bottom of this page you will see the forum jump menu like you are after. Viewing the source code vbulletin used "&nbsp;" to accomplish this.
