    Border background img problem

    Sure glad I found this forum!

    I got a left border backgrnd img off web and in using it in email, when I want to use it, I get 50 or so across the page or two rows - vertically - like left and mid page....and multiple rows.

    I have resized AND resized again hoping to correct the multiples, but nope, I still get a bunch.

    Hope you can understand and PLEASE help - have to use this for a business presentation soon.

    Hi,

    Sounds like you don't want the graphic to repeat at all?

    Use this style to achieve it -

    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    body
    {
    background-image: url(urloftheimage.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }
    </style>

    Hi there QuitDean,

    I am sorry to question your reply
    but I think that aravenlunati requires a left border
    If so he will need...
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    body
    {
    background-image: url(urloftheimage.jpg);
    background-repeat:repeat-y;
    }
    </style>
