    HTML Validator

    Greetings,
Any advise on using the validator.
I have tried but I find it kinda confusing.
On my three desktops my pages are fine but on my laptop it's a mess and on another PC its in order but pushed to one side.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi there JackKing,

I have just popped your url into HTML Tidy. Check the results http://infohound.net/tidy/tidy.pl?_function=tidy&_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.walkinrefrigeration.net%2F&_html=&_file=&alt-text=&doctype=auto&drop-empty-paras=y&fix-backslash=y&fix-bad-comments=y&fix-uri=y&join-styles=y&lower-literals=y&ncr=y&new-blocklevel-tags=&new-empty-tags=&new-inline-tags=&new-pre-tags=&output-xhtml=y&quote-ampersand=y&quote-nbsp=y&indent=auto&indent-spaces=2&tab-size=4&wrap=90&wrap-asp=y&wrap-jste=y&wrap-php=y&wrap-sections=y&ascii-chars=y&char-encoding=ascii&input-encoding=latin1&output-bom=auto&output-encoding=ascii&_output=warn

If you wish to get you code validated at http://validator.w3.org/ you will have to add a DOCTYPE to your code.

you can find out about them http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html and http://htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/doctype.html

All this may seem like a pain in the posterior but if you get into the
habit of writing compliant code, it will pay dividends

My apologies to jackkane I see now that I was confused and that jackking is not jackkane. See, I thought Jackkane was the fellow that spams the search engines, I see that it is you. Again my apologies to jackkane, the ethical jack.

With that being said, I have no desire to help anybody who uses unethical means to get a leg up on the competition. You have said you spam so you can "move some refrigerators". This is why I had to spend so much time and effort to scour the forum and remove any links which go to your pages.

I appreciate every member which puts forth the effort to create a web presence using ethical means. I do not have any desire to to help cheaters, liars or thieves.
