    Links and many other things rendering incorrectly

    PHP Code:
    a.nav:linka#sidebar:visited {
    text-decorationunderline
    color#800000;
    fontsmall-caps bold 17px/24px Arial,sans-serif

    a.nav:active
    text-decorationunderline
    color#800000;
    fontsmall-caps bold 17px/24px Arial,sans-serif

    a.nav:hover
    text-decorationunderline
    color#800000;
    fontsmall-caps bold 17px/24px Arial,sans-serif

    #firstheader .floatleft a:link, a:visited {
    text-decoration:none
    color:#ffd700;
    font-weightbold;
    font-size12px;
    font-familyArial,sans-serif

    #firstheader .floatleft a:active {
    text-decoration:underline
    color:#ffd700;
    font-weightbold;
    font-size12px;
    font-familyArial,sans-serif

    font-familyArial,sans-serif

    /* Top of Page */

    #firstheader {
    background-color:#8b0000;
    height:20px
    width:100%;
    padding3px
    color:#ffd700;
    font-size12px

    #secondheader{
    background-color:#f08080;
    height:75px
    width:100%;
    font:small-caps bold 335Arial,sans-serif
    color:#ffd700;
    padding:10px

    #thirdheader{
    background-color:#8b0000;
    height:20px
    width:100%;
    margin-bottom:5px
    padding-left3px
    fontsmall-caps bold 16px Arial,sans-serif

    #quote {
    font-variantsmall-caps;
    font-weightbold;
    font-familyArial,sans-serif
    color#ffd700;

    floatleft
    float:left
    clear:left

    .
    floatright
    float:right
    clear:right

    CSS of interest

    PHP Code:
    <div id="firstheader"

    <
    span class="floatleft"><a href="index.htm" onmouseover="window.status='Home';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Home</a> | <a href="copyright.htm" onmouseover="window.status='Copyright Information';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Copyright Information</a></span

    <
    span class="floatright"><span id="quote">Quote:</span>&nbsp; <script type="text/javascript">document.write(text[increment]);</script></span>

    </div>
    Rendering acting up a bit. When I modify #sidebar in my CSS, this is modified. Well. The Copyright Information bit is modified, that is. Also, the #quote should be bolded, but does not listen to the CSS command given. It's as if the CSS doesn't apply to anything after 'Home.' Or it only partially understands whats happening.

    PHP Code:
    <div id="sidebar"

    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />
    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />
    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />
    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />
    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />
    <
    a href="#" class="nav" onmouseover="window.status='Link';return true" onmouseout="window.status='';return true">Link</a><br />

    </
    div
    Biggest problem. Links render incorrectly. They aren't even remotely close to what they're supposed to render as. Instead of being reddish at size 17px, they're gold and must be size 12px or less. Oh, but hover works. Hover renders correctly. Everything else doesn't.
