    Java Date

    I'm taking a webdesign class this summer and haven't really used Javascript. The assignment is to create a clock, using Javascript, that reads the full day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) and the full month (January, February, etc.). I followed all the tutorials and created the following code, located on a page, with some help.

    the url is: http://www.psycho-genesis.com/class/peace.htm

    The code seemed to work fine in Dreamweaver at first, then the date disappeared when I uploaded it to the server. Now it won't work in Dreamweaver either.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    Hi there ambellina,

    after a brief look, I saw a couple of errors - there may be more - you can check for them here at HTML Tidy http://infohound.net/tidy/

    Anyway back to your problem change this...
    Code:
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <META NAME="Fred" CONTENT="psycho-genesis">
    <META NAME="New Series" CONTENT="Java">
    <TITLE>	Fractured Simplicity</TITLE>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY bg color="#ffffff">

    <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="css.css" TYPE="text/css">
    ...to this...
    Code:
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <META NAME="Fred" CONTENT="psycho-genesis">
    <META NAME="New Series" CONTENT="Java">
    <TITLE>	Fractured Simplicity</TITLE>
    <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="css.css" TYPE="text/css">
    </HEAD>
    <BODY bg color="#ffffff">
    ...and put a closing table tag here...
    Code:
    <TD WIDTH="66" HEIGHT="1" Valign="top">
    	</TD>
    <TD WIDTH="13" HEIGHT="1" Valign="top">
    	</TD>
    </TR></table>

    ...that should return the date to your page
