table cell background
i know i shouldnt be using tables, but hey...i'm trying...
can CSS be used to stop the background image of a table cell from tiling?
if so, are there any other controls available such as centering etc
am i right in thinking Netscape browser wont render background images in cells?

Hi escocia1, welcome to the forums.
To apply an image to a table cell first give the table cell an id.
eg. <td id="td1one">
then use your Stylesheet to set the rules for it.
I don't use NN so i couldnt comment on whether it renders correctly if at all, sorry.

Hi there krak_d,
you should get a selection of browsers, indispensable for
checking code for cross browser compatibility. Have you not tried firefox yet ?
p.s. just noticed that the ids don't match....

and escocia1, installing firefox is very good advice!
As i new-comer to Mozilla myself i can't recommed it enough!
