4ghz C: Filled while the files in c: are like 2 ghz
hey im new where so im not really sure where to post this but i have a problem. My c: is full while my other partition d: is not. c: is like 4ghz and d: is like 14 ghz. c is some how filled up while all the programs and system files only take up 2 ghz. Is there a virus that does this or is some program reserving the space? i also have my page file to my d: at 1000 for maximum performace in games like counterstrike and stuff so it doesnt freeze. im only 16 so i need help with all these high tec stuff......plz some 1 help

You don't mention what operating system you are using, so I will assume windows XP.
Find Folder Options in the Control Panel. Choose 'View' and enable 'show hidden files'. Then go have a look again.If one of our members helps you, please click the icon to add to their reputation!

Dont worry about it i found the answer. It turned out that system restore of xp cached 2ghz of my HD so i turned it off and it works. thx anyway
