Problem with frames
I've written a web document using word 2000 using frames. It works OK when running in word but not in IE6.
The problem is when I link to another page it is loaded into the frame the hypertext link came from and not the page.
Any help would be gratefully received as I'm tearing the little hair I've got left out. :-)

Welcome to the forums
The problem lies in the target attribute of your links, if you could post a link I could be more specific.

Thanks very much for the fast response on this Dave.
I cannot post a link as I haven't yet uploaded the program.
I noticed today looking through the code of my frame page the statement,
"This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them"
I then found that Word 2000 only has IE4 or IE5 on its browser list. It looks as though Word is not actioning the frame code or frames are not supported by IE6.
If you have any further information on this matter Dave please let me know.

I would suggest looking through our frame tutorials. Your biggest problem is using word to create a webpage, you will not find a worse program for doing this.
maybe you could post your code here?

Word likes to add alot of hidden characters that can really destroy your code. So try what dave suggested and post your code here. We will be more than happy to look at it.
