Hi,
I'm new on the forum and I could really use some help. I am currently designing my first website and having real trouble figuring out the code for a triple background using images. I have managed to get 2 of the 3 background images to work (the one behind the content of the page and the middle one) but the outer border is repeating the image of that behind the content rather than using the image assigned to it. Also, the page seems to be aligned to the left resulting in the right hand margin appearing at least 4 times wider than the left. This means that the text and links forming the page's content are wrapping into the next line.

Here is the code I've used (I also wrapped the content in div classes for bordertile and toptile):

body {
background-image: url(violets_bkdk.gif);
background-color: #ffffff;
margin: 50px
padding: 0;
}
.bordertile{
background-image: url(violets_bkpatt.gif);
margin: 50px;
padding: 50px;
width: 600px;
border-width: 5px;
border-color: #969;
border-style: solid;
}
.toptile{
background-image: url(violets_bk.gif);
margin: 0;
padding: 0px;
border-width: 5px;
border-color: #969;
border-style: solid;
text-align: center;
}

I would so appreciate any help.
