Computer slow
From the Associated Press
"The people who call Dell Inc.'s customer service line often have no idea why their computers are running so slow. The ones who call America Online Inc. can't necessarily explain why Internet connections keep dropping. And those who file error reports with Microsoft Corp. don't always know why their computers inexplicably crash.
Sometimes, the company that gets the complaint is rightly to blame. But with alarming frequency, officials at these and other technology companies say they are tracing customer problems back to one culprit: spyware."

Re: Computer slow
That hits the nail on the head. My adaware and spybot s and d have saved me many times. Spyware is out of control.

Re: Computer slow
I used to like to watch videos on my computer, but I got some malicious spyware and virus, so I stopped.
I found a really good spyware removal utility - Searchbot Search and Destroy I think it was called. It helped me remove spyware on at least 2 occassions.
It's weird that my Norton Antirus doesn't stop spyware and the fix it tool can't remove certain spyware either.

Re: Computer slow
My situation was similar and I was not aware that why my computer is slow. I do not use dell but after I moved to SSD and new CPU I no longer see hang taskbar or task manager
