    Tag Board Style Sheeting

    Hi

    I'm Trying To Customize A Tag Board I'm Adding To My Webpage. I'm Using Myshoutbox.com As The Host. They Say That You Can Choose From One Of Their Templates Or You Can Use Your Own By Using A Stylesheet Provided By Yourself. I Was Wondering How I Can Go About Doing That. It Gives An Example Of What To Do But When I Do It, It Doesn't Work.

    *This Is What It Says In The FAQ Section Of Their Site*

    I would like another as the existing Colorset/Themes. How does that go?
    The realization results by means of so-called Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), through that you can change almost completely the appearance of your Shoutbox.
    If you have no experience with Style Sheets, we advise you to use existing themes. However, we cannot create personal Style Sheets for you.
    You can find the CSS template called "SenseGray" here. You can edit this file to your liking and use it as a model to develope your own Style Sheet. Please note that the file must have the extension .css to work. The name of the file itself, however, you can decide by yourself.
    To implement the CSS file into your Shoutbox, copy/paste the code below and change it to your liking.

    <!-- BEGIN MYSHOUTBOX.COM IFRAME-CODE -->
    <iframe bgcolor="white" src="http://205178.myshoutbox.com/?extcss=http://domain.com/stylename.css" width="150" height="300" frameborder="0"></iframe>

    <!-- END MYSHOUTBOX.COM IFRAME-CODE-->

    You can generate the code for this also with the Code-Generator. Simply enter in the Code-Generator the appropriate CSS-file name in the field "use external CSS-file".
    For the CSS file, the absolute address, including the http://, must be used.

    If you use your own stylesheet and you want to use a special language, you can do this with a so-called Querystring, which should look like the following:

    .../?LANG=US&extcss=http://domain.com/stylename.css" ...

    And Also Should The Following Code Work Or Does It Need Fixing Thanx:

    Code:
    a:link{
    	color : #848484;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	font weight:bold;
    	cursor:n-resize;
    }

    a:visited{
    	color : #848484;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	font weight:bold;
    	cursor:n-resize;
    }

    a:hover{
    	color : #848484;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	font weight:bold;
    	cursor:n-resize;
    }

    a:active{
    	color : #848484;

    Hi Dave,

    In My First Post I Showed What The Web Page Said To Do And How To Edit Their Code To Insert Your CSS File. My CSS File Is http://themainevent.vzz.net/stylesheet.css But When I Insert It To The Code It Doesn't Work

    Here's My Edited Code (Is There Something Wrong With It That Would Make It Not Work?):

    Code:
    <!-- BEGIN MYSHOUTBOX.COM CODE -->
    <iframe src="http://205178.myshoutbox.com/?LANG=US&?extcss=http://themainevent.vzz.net/stylesheet.css" width="220" height="230" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>
    <!-- END MYSHOUTBOX.COM CODE-->

    It could be that your host does not allow hotlinking.
