    Mysterious 1 pixel border around jpg's

    I am working on a site and.....

    Some of the images have a 1 pixel border - (i.e. 6 on p.c.)

    around them.

    I have tried adding the border attribute to those images
    &
    making the border-color: white;

    but that does not work.

    if anyone is interested here is the url

    http://www.georgerios.com/iph.html

    I have not been able to figure this out

    Hi there henrik,

    and a warm welcome to these forums
    Try these modifications...
    Code:
    <table align="center" width="360" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
    <tr>
    <td>
    <a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('iphdetail.html','Geroge_Rios','width=216,height=216')">
    <img src="images/iphigenie.jpg" width="339" height="432"  alt="" border="0" />
    </a>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    You could also disable all borders for all images by modifying your stylesheet:

    img { border-style: none; }
