word wrap on notepad
Hi from Australia!
I am directing items on my website by way of hyperlink to a notepad file. When I make the particular notepad file, I use wordwrap and save it, but when the link on the website is followed (opens in a new window) the page is not word wrapped and has the annoying left - right scroll bar.
How do I intstruct the webpage to be contained in the same screen without having to scroll left right to read it?
Thanks

May be the way you are uploading it, try uploading in ascii mode.

Tried the ASCII
Hi Dave and thanks for the idea, unfortunately I still have the same problem.
I even deleted the old file, renamed it and uploaded the new one in ASCII mode but all to no avail.
Any other ideas?

Try not using word-wrap, and just press enter at appropriate line lengths.
