    Question Drop down menu difficulty

I am having a problem with my drop down navigation menu.

    http://www.thewebmuse.com/marpa/index.html

Around the part that drops down is a box. I don't want this to be there. Can someone please take a look and let me know how to get rid of the border?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

Where did you get the dropdown menu? Have you asked there?

I got the script off of a link off of hotscripts.com I went back to look, but couldn't find any area for help or contacting the person who wrote the script.

I was able to remove the border (it was just in the CSS), but now the menus won't retract back up after you mouseover them Any ideas?

Well done for figuring the styling. Good news is that the menu's disappear about .5 of a second after I mouseout from them. I'm using FireFox 1.0.1 in WinXP.

Checked in IE6 too, works fine for me?

    Question

YAY! I was able to get the nav menu all straightened out. Thanks for your responses.

I have another question, though - same site, different topic:

The client wants the scrolling bar of pictures, as seen on the proof site... but when you mouseover a picture, they want it to stop scrolling and have a drop down area of text (symbolized by the yellow area)... and then when you mouse back off, the text disappears and the pictures start scrolling again. I know this can be done in Flash, but the client doesn't want anything Flash. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Try www.dynamicdrive.com they have loads of image scrolling scripts.

Thanks for the link... I'll check it out and see if I can find something in there that will work. I have looked on numerous other sites and haven't found quite the right thing.
