Image Code
Can anyone tell what the following means.
img src="http://www.anotherdomain.com/image.gif?track=6bb3f01axu7Y&aid=00995"
width=1 height=1 border=0
Especially the following image.gif?track=6bb3f01axu7Y&aid=00995"
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Re: Image Code
It is a tracking image, a small 1x1 pixel image. These are usually used with affiliate type links or by spammers. Those with affiliate links are pretty much harmless, the spammers on the other hand. Spammers include a tracking pixel to help verify good email addys. When you open an email it calls to the spammers server for this invisible image, he then knows you have opened his email and you are good for many more
