Anybody know anything about flash? I'm running Flash 5 now, and don't quite know how to get the whole 'loading' thingy to work. You know what i'm talking about, the little bar that fills up while you're waiting for the video or whatever to load?
Which, at the same time got me thinking, can you make a complete website out of only flash, or would that end up being stupid? I've never seen it done before, and thought it might be an interesting concept.

don't know the answer to the first question but for the second:
yes it can be done I've seen it before but it's really slow loading and can be annoying depending on how u do it. Trust me if u don't do it right i can be REALLY annoying. But if u design it correctly then besides the loading it's alright.

Yeh I need to say thanks too. I just started here and this is one of the subjects I wanted to bring up.
I have only just tried any flash stuff, and well, looks like its over my head. But I once said that about Paint Shop Pro, and now I use it every single time I'm on my PC.
I just have demo versions of draw 4, and the online Java web site.
K my question is, if you have a program or two. how do you get them on your web page?
I have viewed source, and got what I think ist the script, but when I try to put it in my html editor, it doesnt work. I was wandering if anybody can help me figure this out??

Have you seen this?
http://www.kartoo.com/flash.php3 is a search engine done entirely in flash. A bit confusing at first, but it's alot of fun to use.

They've got a good idea but there appear to be too may imbedded advertising sites that have nothing to do with the search query, yet -- meaning they would if someone placed something (probably for a fee) at the referenced link. It appears to be something for people with nothing better to do and not really pressed for time when searching - it could develop into something that could blow Google out of the water, though.
