    nested divs in mozilla...

    The following code works great in explorer, but in mozilla the nested divs are overflowing the first container div.. how do I fix it so that the container div ACTUALLY contains the other two divs in mozilla?

    Thanks in advance..

    (CODE)
    ---

    <STYLE>

    div.slinks a {
    clear: both;
    padding: 10px;
    display: block;
    color: blue;
    width: 380px;
    background-color: #F8F8F8;
    border-top: 1px dashed black;
    border-bottom: 1px dashed black;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    div.slinks a:hover {
    clear: both;
    padding: 10px;
    display: block;
    color: red;
    width: 380px;
    background-color: white;
    border-top: 1px solid black;
    border-bottom: 1px solid black;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    </STYLE>

    <div class=slinks>
    <a href=test>
    <div style='float: left;'>
    test
    </div>
    <div style='float: right;'>
    test<br>test<br>test
    </div>
    </a>
    </div>

    Re: nested divs in mozilla...

    I figured it out.. for anyone else searching the forums with the same problem, add aother div at the bottom of the container div with a {clear: both} property.. this will force the bottom of the container div down to contain all of the content needed.
