Webmaster/SEO Strategist

MindComet seeks Webmaster/SEO/SEM Strategist. Strategist will be responsible for creating and maintaining a network of content-based web sites and will develop and implement strategies for generating increased web traffic. The strategist will research keywords and analyze competing web sites to determine content requirements for the web sites, as well as analyze traffic logs and develop plans to increase lead generation and conversion. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Maitland, FL.


- Strong knowledge of standard web development techniques and technologies
- Entry-level webmaster skills (domain registration and hosting, etc)
- Understanding of Link Building and Search Engine Optimization techniques
- Familiarity with tools for determining web user search tendencies and top keywords
- Excellent understanding of web traffic analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with RSS technology a plus
- Understanding of Search Engine Marketing and PPC (Overture and Google AdWords).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Confidence in meeting clients and presenting strategy and concepts for discussion.
- Ability to work quickly and methodically in an ever changing industry.
- Upbeat, team oriented attitude. Willing to learn and adapt to a new environment.
- Ability to organize and coordinate, with strong informational research skills.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Education: A Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience in Web development, Web design, or Web Marketing with a focus on Search Engine Optimization, Link Building, PPC, etc. Additional relevant experience may substitute for some of the education requirements.
