    Thumbs up coloured scrollbars

    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">

    // (C) 2004 email removed
    // http://www.hostultra.com/~cuds/lilangels2.htm
    // *ree for all users, but leave in this header

    <!-- Begin
    function changeScrollbarColor(C) {
    if (document.all) {
    document.body.style.scrollbarBaseColor = C;
    }
    }
    // End -->
    </script>

    <input type=button value="Red ScrollBar"
    onMouseOver="changeScrollbarColor('#FF0000')">

    <input type=button value="Orange ScrollBar"
    onMouseOver="changeScrollbarColor('#FF8000')">

    <input type=button value="Yellow ScrollBar"
    onMouseOver="changeScrollbarColor('#FFFF00')">

    <input type=button value="Green ScrollBar"
    onMouseOver="changeScrollbarColor('#00FF00')">

    <input type=button value="Blue ScrollBar"
    onMouseOver="changeScrollbarColor('#4444FF')">

    a few mouse overs but instead of links i changed it to a button form you can see it in action at http://hostultra.com/~cuds/lilangels2.htm

    Just change the color code for more options

    If you are going to place it in a iframe you do it to the htm page that will be the iframe inside the other htm page that makes up the proper one.

    I looked at that page, and the code is not in there. So no, it wont work.

    Put it between <head> - </head> tags and it should work.

    If this is part of your actual code you really need to run it through the HTML validator in our webmaster tools section.

    um i am incredibly slow and new, so i'm kinda confused, :-\ i deleted the <h1></h1> and i tried putting in the scroll bar code dave put in b4:

    <style type="text/css">
    BODY {
    SCROLLBAR-BASE-COLOR: #2D527B;
    SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #FFFFFF;
    }
    </style>

    but its still not working, and i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do with the webmaster tools validation thing i tried but it came up with:

    I was not able to extract a character encoding labeling from any of the valid sources for such information. Without encoding information it is impossible to validate the document. The sources I tried are:

    The HTTP Content-Type field.
    The XML Declaration.
    The HTML "META" element.

    um, ya, like i said before i'm new at this and i'm sometimes slow...

    I now see a black scrollbar on your original link you posted. Its working fine.

    Be aware that this code only works on Windows Internet Explorer, 5.5+
