You may also consider godaddy and yahoo. IMO godaddy is the most reliable and yahoo is the cheapest.

One of the things you might want to consider when registering a domain is signing up for private domain registration. I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but unless you have private domain registration, anyone doing a Whois search on your domain can see the email and snail addresses that you have on record with your registrar.

If you used your home address, the world quite literally knows where you live. Then of course, having your email address exposed like that leaves the door open for all kinds of spam. Private domain registration is usually pretty reasonaly priced, from about US $9-12 per year, and is well worth the money spent.

I like dodaddy... right now I think they're selling .com domains for $7.95 or so. I think their usual price is $8.95. From reading forums I believe that GoDaddy is one of the largest and most reputable out there.
As a disclosure I have no affiliation whatsoever with Godaddy, except that I buy my domain names from them.

I've been using Godaddy also and it's been great. There's a lot of nickel and diming you to death, extra for this, extra for that... but the merch part is pretty slick! Although I have to say, I've never used anything else to compare.

One thing about Godaddy, yesterday I was renewing my domains and I think that the price went up. With a discount for renewing more than 5 domains I think that I paid about $9 per domain. When I first signed up and transferred domains it was only $7.95. Maybe all domain registrars charge more for renewals b/c they only offer low price transfers to get your business. Once they have you then they know that they can charge a bit more.
I got some junk mail from Yahoo saying something like register a domain for $1.95 or $2.95. Maybe Yahoo is worth checking out.

Do you use the "Quick Shopping Cart" on any of your sites? How do you like it? Took me a while to figure out catagories, options and products to get the options and hierchy I wanted, but I think I got it now. It's not real pretty, but not bad.

To my knowledge estdomains.net offers domain registration for 6.5 $. And other services like mail forwarding , managed dns are only for just .05$
