    Error message

I use Dreamweaver MX and I have recently been getting an error message whenever I try to save. The error message is as follows:
    Code:
An FTP error has occurred - cannot put pagename.html. 500 ORT not understood
I tried looking it up and cannot find out what it is. Also, it only sometimes happens. Does anyone know what this is? or why it happens? Or how to fix it?

    Thanks.

i dont use dreamwever, but my seggestion is to try downloading another ftp program like (my favorite) SmartFTP...

if the error occures in there, it is mostlikely a connection interuption between your machin and the server.

    Re: Error message

I used to use cuteFTP but with DW it's a million times more convenient to use their built in software. I'll try ftp'ing with Cute and see what happens. Thanks

oop. Figured it out. For the record (incase it comes up again) it was something with the webcam constantly ftp'ing messing up DW. I simply turned off the program and the error went away. I guess it's a learning experience? Thanks for the help anyways.
