Dare I ask what kind of work you do where you need MySpace to advertise?

Re: Blocked content
I am sure it is blocked for a reason, AHFB is not the place to learn how to go around the rules of others.

Re: Blocked content
Myspace has a forum. You might want to read this thread, specifically posts 4 and 5. I'd read the whole thread though, as there seem to be some helpful suggestions for workarounds - that are perfectly legal, I might add.
Just as an aside, I see stuff in my server logs all the time where myspace members try to hotlink to my images (I'm blocking them, so all they get is a red 'X'). If it weren't against my web host's TOS, I'd love to do a mod rewrite to serve them some really gross porno pic instead.Music Around The World - Collecting tips, trade

You could always create an image that shows the URL to your page

Re: Blocked content
you need to be causious about protecting hotlinking...
Dave... remember when i told you Norton Internet Security was having problems with your site... well the problem (or i think it was this) was hotlinking protection. as a default in Norton, it keeps the browser from sending 'refferer' when it sends the info for the site.
that means that the avrage computer user, that has notron, may have problems with sites that have hotlink protection!
just my thoughts,

Re: Blocked content
If this were the case I would think it would block all images not just the little icons.
While we are on the subject of hotlinking, I noticed one of our members linking to an image cough * ALL* cough. I am sure you did not mean to, it looks like you did a copy and paste of your signature and forgot about the rating icon.

Re: Blocked content
if i have any dramas with this i normally just go over to the myspace forum and ask someone. There are workarounds for this, and its not complex.
but im wondering if the content your posting has something to do with this..hmmm
