help

everytime i try to make frames, when i click on a link on the frame on the left, it either opens a new browser opening the link, or opens it inside the menu frame.

I want it to open in the large part of the page on the right. Can you help me?

Thanks in advance

Hey gooner,
check out our tutorial on targetting links and just remember the name of your target should be the name that you have givin the frame in your frameset page.

Just recently discovered that problem myself. My http://search.jamrent.com page was created and fine tuned with Netscape 4.71. The tag worked fine until I began using IE 5.01 as my sole browser.

I had to go in and add TARGET=searchCR to each and every ... anchor in the file to get them to display in the right frame.
