    iFrame Scrollbar Issues

    I'm currently designing a website and I've run into a bit of a problem with my scrollbars. I'm trying to make it so that every part of the scrollbar is transparent except for the arrows.

    If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

    An example of what I mean is at this site: www.beyond-illusions.net

    Looks to me like you already have this set up.

    No, that's what I want it to look like. That's just a site I found. I'm trying to recreate it.

    ooops, as clear as it is I misread it

    add this bit of CSS
    Code:
    body
      {scrollbar-3dlight-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-arrow-color: #ffbfee;
      scrollbar-base-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-face-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-highlight-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-shadow-color: #ffffff;
      scrollbar-track-color: #ffffff;}

    Re: iFrame Scrollbar Issues

    I must have made a mistake because that just made them white for me. What I have is:

    <div id="scrollDiv" class="secondControl" style="position: absolute; left: 125; top: 190; width: 605; height: 355; z-index: 2" allowtransparency="true">
    And for my CSS:

    .secondControl
    {
    border-left: 1px solid #ffffff;
    border-top: 1px solid #ffffff;
    border-right: 1px solid #ffffff;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #ffffff;
    /* scrollbar stuff */
    scrollbar-3dlight-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-arrow-color: #6C0000;
    scrollbar-base-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-face-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-highlight-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-shadow-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-track-color: #ffffff;}
    And while I'm at it, When I try to delete the border around it, none of the rest of the code works. Like if I change it to zero or delete it, the scrollbars turn back to the default computer settings.

    Yeah, you can check it out here.

    Actually, now that I've checked they're messed up more than I thought. They won't scroll down all the way either. If you use the horizontal scrollbar to go over, there is another one. I'm not sure why.

    Re: iFrame Scrollbar Issues

    I think it is a reult of having an iframe within the div. Try eliminating the iframe and put the contents within the div.

    The div scrollbar looks to me like what you wanted.

    Re: iFrame Scrollbar Issues

    Okay, that worked for the main page, but before I had all the pages opening in the frame so now they open in a pop up. Is there a way to fix that or should I just do that to every page so it gives the appearance of frames?

    Re: iFrame Scrollbar Issues

    First let me aplogize, too much going on here lately.

    That said, it would still be better doing it the way I showed and eliminating frames all together. The search engines will show a little more love this way and I am sure you would have no problem with that
