I've never really messed with FTP sites, nor have i set one up. how would i go abouit doing this?
in a similar question..if i WANTED to stream the MP3 file, is it possible for you to specify a player? like winamp. thanks!robert koons

Isn't an FTP site just like a mirror site or something? Don't really know...
Isn't streaming mp3 files illegal unless their your own?
I dunno just using the <embed> tag, I think it uses the users default player, not quite sure though. Of course you could always have a link to the player you want, make the mp3's extension only one that works with that certain player and say you have to download the player, but I dunno any other way...

I TRIED TO EXPLAINE
I tried to explaine what i could of it but went off topic in another post try to find it. Someone replied to me and fixed what i done wrong. Or if you need someone to walk you through it i have yahoo messanger and i can make some time to walk you through it. that's not a prob.
try to find this program WS_FTP very good and easy to use.

It will become, easier to you once you start using it.
like the tags that has to be used etc....

I know what index.htm .html does but what does index2.htm/html do?

of course your .com url would default to index.htm or index.html. index2.htm or index2.html would be justlikeanyotherfilename.html it would never default to the home page but would have to be linked to to be viewed.
