I'm a very pleased webmaster of a happening Joomla-based website (http://www.desertacademy.org), but I spent several weeks looking for a solid wysiwyg editor for my content managers and me to use.

Tiny mosCE was buggy and too lightweight in features.

mosCE was buggy (though I've heard some good reports elsewhere), and its features were not completely intuitive.

But, WYSYWIG PRO (http://www.wysiwygpro.com/) finally met my expectations. Though the others are freeware and WP costs about $50, it's well worth paying for an editor that is straightforward, feature rich, and reliable and does what you expect without you needing to conjure up workarounds. Also, when I first installed WP, I had a problem on my site that a WP tech person logged in and fixed on my site directly, and got me rolling.

My search for a solid Joomla content editor is over.
