    Re: phpbb forum hosting

I use www.bluguy.com, and have found them both reliable and helpful.
They do a basic Windows Server package for £2.99 a month which incudes php and mySQL - the requirements for phpBB.
It also includes Fantastico, which will probably have phpBB built in - you just click to say you want to install it.
I'm pretty sure this doesn't include a domain name, but you can buy a .co.uk for about a tenner for 2 years - try www.ukreg.com
If you do decide to go with BluGuy let me know - I don't think they do referrals, but I'll ask ... might get me a free month or two!

    You should try *******

They host IPB as well as phpBB and you can remove all ads very cheaply (1USD=6,000 ad-free page views).

They also have a modification database (http://www.*****.com) and a free image host (http://www.********.com) and you can see that they have a LOT of features to offer.

They are a good choice to make

    Why is the link obscured?

If it is not all of your fpromoter friends will be here spamming too.

    Promoter Guidelines

    1) You must post your promotion at a forum with 100+ members
    2) You can only promote once at the same forum
    3) You must NOT post in the wrong section, or ignore the rules. We do not want to SPAM other forums, or piss off forum admins
    4) You must include a direct link to *******.com, as well as the support forums in your promotion
    5) Try to change your username/promotion every once in a while, to make everything seem nice and authentic.
    6) Of course, make sure not to post on the support forum of a competitor (another free forum hosting service). (We don't want to steal their users)
    7) you should ALSO TRY to make it look like you are not advertising. Kind of like an unbiased referral. "oh, i know this site is pretty
cool, ... oh i know this site is not bad, check it out ...blah blah".
This will help not to get tagged spam and deleted by the mods the next
    day.

    Re: phpbb forum hosting

There are a number of shared hsoting offers for around 6$ per month, like hostgator, hostmonster, lunarpages etc. Anyone of them should be good enough for a forum.

Everyone is going to Xenforo direction. I think this is needed for security purposes and forum stability as well.

Your budget is very low, in this budget you can get only a powerful VPS Server,is that okay for you?
