Image to text menu rollover

Hello,

I am desperately trying to create a menu in which you can roll over a thumbnail on the left and see a larger image with a line of text underneath on the right. I know how to do the image rollover (using Dreamweaver) but I can't figure out how to do the text without having to use layers. Is there an easier way? When you click on the thumbnails the text changes on the right.

Hmmm
This is in the CSS forum, but the example you refer to uses Javascript.
So - do you want a CSS solution or a Javascript one - or are you not bothered as long as it works?
I'd have a damn good rummage around www.cssplay.co.uk
Stu's managed to do pretty much everything, and almost always in pure CSS, so it's a good first stop - and virtually every technique he develops he explicitly states is free for all to use and adapt.

I'm not saying this is the wrong place!
I think you may be able to do this in pure CSS ... I was just checking if you had a preference
Do check out CSS Play - it's got some great techniques you could adapt.
I think you'd basically need to use the "hidden" and "hover" characteristics to have show/hide the relevant picture and text from within a <div> or <span> as you rollover the link.
