Post Click here to enable cookies?

I would like to place a link on my website that, when clicked, will enable cookies on the viewer's IE5 or greater browser. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Rusty

Hello mate, welcome to the forums.

Chances are, there is no way to do this.

The only way I can think of to do this would be through ActiveX controls. Problem is, these settings are security related, therefore they probably do not allow them. You can see the point of it, if ActiveX objects can change your security settings, then malicious websites can do an awful lot of harm to a visitor.

Don't give up on this, I only searched around microsoft.com, there may be other ways to do this.

    Hello,
Thanks for the information. I see your point, too.
