My link buttons dont show in XP anyone know why

I am using imaged [input buttons] for linking pages but they show as white buttons with no text on them in XP, they are ok in 98.

If I change XP to imitate Classic Windows the buttons all appear ok.. Anyone know why this is happening.?

    Thanx...

Sounds like an XP bug (no! surely not)

You might be better off digging around microsoft.com for an answer to that.

Reminds me of the classic quote -

Customer - I run Windows on my computer
    Helpdesk Guy - Yup.
Customer - My computer doesn't work
Helpdesk Guy - Yes, you said.

In case you wondered, I work on a helpdesk

why don't you post your code up here anyways. And if it is an XP problem well... you won't have to worry about that once you upload your site

Microsoft has released a patch to take care of this issue. You can find it at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q318966&

Thanks for the advice... Tried the Q318966 Download but did not make any difference...

The site navigation buttons are plain white, which doesn't help the viewer too much...

I do not know where to put the "Alt" in these buttons, perhaps you could advise me..

If you are using XP can you take a look at the sites buttons and let me know if you get the same as me - the site navigation buttons are all white whereas they should have a button image. The offending page is - www.elitestairways.com/sidepagemahogany.htm
