IFrame causing problems
I'm having a little problem with an iframe.
Basically, I was asked to make a website which was similar in design to http://www.mobile-phones4u.net/
The person wants a similar design, but in the centre column of the site they want it to be blank, they told me that it has to be a frame. There is probably easier ways of doing this, i'm an intermediate though, and I would like to know why this problem is occuring.
I have begun working on a test site, what i've done is made a table at the top, which includes all the images and spans the width of the center section. Then there is two tables below that one, one on the left, which houses the navigation/menu, and one next to the which is the main table on the page, and spans 582 x 500 pixels.
The problem is, I have a background image inside the navigation/menu table (left), and, for some reason, when I add the <iframe> tag into the main table, the navigation/menu table dissapears, as if it was never coded in the first place. They are completely seperate tables, so why are they interfering with eachother?
I have uploaded my test page to some temporary web space, I have both the version with the iframe, and without, which makes it easier to see what's going on.
I will also attach my source code too.
Version with <iframe>: http://www.iron-forums.co.uk/Test01.html
Version without <iframe>: http://www.iron-forums.co.uk/Test02.html
(The images used on the test site are not ones I will be using, they are just to take up the room and help me see what my finished version will be like)
