IE not displaying fixed images properly

I'm building my webpage using Netscape Composer, and have three image links that I have set in a "fixed" position on the main page and tables centered. It works just like I want it when viewed with Netscape 7.2, but IE6 places everything on the left margin. What am I doing wrong?

Re: IE not displaying fixed images properly

    wow.... ummm.... where to start.....

i have never used netscape composer... but from this example it make the sloppiest html i have EVER seen... (not your fault, the designers of the compser's fault).

anyway without withholding you... read up on this article...
    http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/fixedPosition.html
it should spread light on your problem.

as for another tip... *wispers* use FrontPage or Dreamwever *wispers*

Re: IE not displaying fixed images properly

Thanks for the quick reply. I've switched them to absolute and that works in IE. As for your recommendations, I'm already looking into other page builders . Thanks again.
