    Driving traffic to website

Just wanted to say great forum and thanks for all the help becuase i am new to this whole concept. Anayways. I have a couple websites , but very little traffic. I came across this website http://www.free-banners.com]
Has anyone had any experience with it? Is it just another gimmick or has it worked. Just would like to get some feedback before I spend time trying the site.

    Thanks,

I don't know about banners, I guess it would be okay but you'd have to see how big the are.

As a consumer, nothing irritates me more than banners and pop-ups.

I donīt know if itīs any help but I found this website (see link) where you buy a software that drives traffic to your site. Itīs not really as good as they say but it did boost the visits to my site. So itīs really worth the $29 they charge.

Dont waste Your time with those banner-exchanges ... Best way is to leave as much as possible links to You website (in blogs, forums, directorys).

Thumbs up Re: Driving traffic to website

From all the research that I've done and found, banner ads are very ineffective. Yor better off looking for alternative methods form this site. If you want to pay for advertising I'd suggest adwords.

Question Driving traffic to website - The Most Asked Question?

Every body looks for the holy grail of traffic - sort of like this
What is the best way to get traffic to my website or blog?
    My questions are different -
What are you doing with the visitors you are already getting?
What single strategy do you consider yourself focusing on to attract traffic?
Who do you want to visit your site, and why?

Getting traffic takes lots of hard work, the point is not to look for a quick or easy fix.

-visitors are consider as one factors to achieve popularity of site, so to maintain my returning visitors i update my site regularly. Make it more useful and informative.. In that way visitors will stay on my site longer and return more often.
Making your site more informative might increase your credibility and create possibility that those visitors might become your customer.

What single strategy do you consider yourself focusing on to attract traffic?

    - main strategy, focus more on SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

Who do you want to visit your site, and why?
    -
I basically made this site of coarse for my targeted visitors. through this targeted visitors, i can easily communicate with them and at the same time plugging my business, services and product..

Are Banners an Effective Traffic Generation Choice?

    Hey Hawks 13
Have you tryed the banners site ....did you have any success....personally I don't find banners very effective.......

I find that traffic still remains the #1 problem faced by most online business today.

My experience suggests , it is better to get 2 visitors from 1000 traffic sources, than 1000 website visitors from only 2 traffic sources....think about it, this thought could save your business!

Let me know how I can help you further
