Talking web page components missing can't sign into chat - please help

Hope this o.k. to ask. I have been having a problem with IE 6 when I try to access some sites that have chat rooms. What happens is the icon that indicates a missing bit map is displayed and no sign-in area is displayed. The rest of the page is fine, but I can't sign in. The
    URL is http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/chatroom.phtml
This is driving me nuts. I tried getting help from Broadband but they gave up and told me to contact MS and wellllll I couldn't figure out how to get help from them without paying for it.

Can anyone pleaseeeeeee help me? If so please email me atr rlanouett@attbi.com

They're probably Java chat applets. MS lost its case with Sun and has removed Java support from IE (I think starting with 6). If you have an older version of IE or NS, you should be able to access the Java applets.

Hummm, I can access this site from work using IE6, but not from home. I checked all the settings on the IE Tools Settings Advanced Tab between the two machines and they are the same.

Edited the message to add this - I just
went back to version 5 and still have the same problem.

Try downloading the latest Windoze JVM from http://microsoft.com/ . I had a similar problem, and this fixed it.
