Nav bar Question?

Got a question for myspace navigation bar? What do i do first like do i create layout then hide navigation bar then add code or what?

myspace is css based, therefore the order you apply the css should not affect the layout.
If you can explain the effect you're trying to achieve, it would help create a platform for our myspace/css gurus to start to help.

Not sure if im explaining right. But i was wanting the contact table to hide also the nagition bar like home n etc. While the navigation bar to say Home Add Me Message Me Friends. Whenever i try to do that it just goes back to home,browse and etc?
