    My Digital-Talk Forum

My friend and I started Digital-Talk Forum about a month ago. We are computer and dvd enthusiasts and wanted to meet other people with the same interests.

My question is how do we attract new members? We are finally getting bots from google, and we set up a My Group at Yahoo. Anyone have any ideas?

I do not see groups as being productive at all. Instead of spending your time promoting 1 site, now you have to promote a group and a site?

Your time would be best spent scouring vb.org looking for mods that could help.

Some time ago, I came across an interesting (http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2006/01/09/building-a-forum-with-bribes/) blog post, which offers some tips on how to build a forum. Perhaps it will be of some help for you.
