    78 rpm records

I guess this is aimed towards vinyl-junkie our resident metalhead....I mean record expert
Is there still a market for 78s and if so is there any money or is it mainly nickle and dime?

( I will have to upload pics of my victrola someday)

I had to laugh when I saw your post title.

There are a few 78rpm records that are worth money, what they used to call "race records." Generally, pre-WWII blues records by black artists could fetch a bit of money. Some as much as $1,000 each, depending on the rarity.

I have a handful of old 78s that I got from my dad. They're worth more for sentimental value than anything else. The one I really wish I had gotten hold of a few years sooner is one that an uncle of mine made when he was in his late teens or early 20's. Just some country music, but a lot of the finish on the outer edges of the record had worn off by the time I got my hands on it. I could have burned a better CD-R from it if it was in better shape.
