Why are you referencing our pm script?

    "private.php?do=newpm&u=9666"

    Re: PHP form- not working

    Lets break it down
    private.php?do=newpm&u=9666
private.php - the name of a script used by vbulletin.
?do=newpm references the function to send send a new pm
&u=9666 The user which to send the pm to.

Now lets look at your user number at ahfb 9666

so to sum it all up, here is the code you are using
    private.php?do=newpm&u=9666
and here is the url to pm YOU at ahfb
    private.php?do=newpm&u=9666

according to you it is pure coincidence that you happened to swipe some vbulletin code from a page which refers to the same member number as is assigned to YOU here at ahfb.

I may very well be the biggest dummy here when it comes to fixing code, but do not kid yourself to thinking that I am outright stupid.

I suggest you find out who did, as by copying/pasting ripped code from this site you're not going to get it working.

    Re: PHP form- not working

I am working on a website, when i opened up the website folder via FTP, we had some thing called an "app-form.html"
I had to fix this to send to the correct email, but it used Outlook to do it,
after asking about it, they told me i needed to use PHP in order to bypass Outlook,
I looked into the folder and Found "app-form PHPREDONE.html" last accessed sometime 2005
I opened it up to look at it and i did not think it will work
I HAVE MADE NO EDITS OR CHANGES TO IT
as to why it references me- i have no clue I only started to work on the website about 4 weeks ago
when i made my first "HELP link text disappeared" post
If this post appears twice, my web browser was not working and i had to reload the page

    Re: PHP form- not working

According to google cache the code was NOT there on Feb 11.

All you had to do was be honest, the result would have been me just telling you why it was a wrong move. Instead you choose to follow up the lie with more lies until you have now given information that could be verified. Instead of forum members assuming you were a liar you kept it up until we could now prove it.

Sounds to me like the school could use a new webmaster.

AJ Mukon works for me and he DID NOT create this form. The form existed LONG before he even worked here!

That page does not have the code.
Of course I can understand how it could happen that your webmaster from 13 months ago knew this person would register over a year later and be assigned the exact same user number. You should do anything you can to get the old webmaster back, this person is an absolute genius.

Odd how I get an apology and admission of making the code once I ban him, but we still get a new user with a "screenshot".

    Re: PHP form- not working

    That is Fantastic!
It's really brightened up my day.

PHPREDONE - I translate that as "PHP [code] re-done"

app_form-PHPREDONE - I translate that as "the app_form page with the PHP code re-done."

That fits in with the app_form.html being immediately above app_form-PHPREDONE.html, which is alphabetically where it should be.

According to the Date Modified details, it appears that the new & improved PHPREDONE code was written 13 months before the original.

AJ is clearly not just a genius, but a time traveller as well.
    Or a liar, of course.

P.S. - didn't see Dave's last two posts on Page 2 Sorry for the duplication!
