Hey, "edited" is a weird name but it doesn't cost 300 bucks you know, can we have something more reasonable around here

Those in charge of TLD .sr have set the wholesale price extremely high for whatever reason they have. In time this will probably come down as do most TLDs. Take a look at .com, previously it was $35/year with a 2 year minimum. While sellers of domains set there own prices we cannot go lower than cost.

Geek, the questions you ask should be asked of the host not the domain registrar.

ianru, this is a family friendly website, your post was not neccesarily swear words, however there is not room for it on this forum.

but it doesn't cost 300 bucks you know, can we have something more reasonable around here
There are 6 TLDs for under $10.00 and only 1 that is "300 bucks" I agree that $335 is unreasonable, but then again so is that statement.

Ok we have 2 issues here web hosting and domain names. Your host is where your files are actually located ie 100megswebhosting or Tera-Byte. The domain is your .com or whatever name which points to your hosts nameserver

What steps do you take to get your own paid space and domain?

1: choose a host I suggest the 2 mentioned above
    2: buy a domain
3: configure your domain to point to the nameserver set by your host, this is done through your domain account access control panel.
