    Question Opening home page

    When I open up the url devinput com the
    index page also is displayed with webpage. There is java script in the html code. I used Front Page to do layout. Page opens fine in the USA but from outside US you have to include index.html so that page opens. The menu bar is not bad but may be causing problem. The page opens in Fire Fox and MSIE without any problems.

    It sounds like you need to contact your hosting company. Do you have any other "home pages" like index.htm or default.htm, etc?

    I will replace index.html with index.htm and see what happens and then talk to my ISP. I was looking at Dreamweaver 8.0 at the header information after a page is created and will try a conversion in that application.
