    Unhappy REL LINK

    Ok. tried the link and only part of it worked (could see yellow background0. Here is the link to the page.

    http://www.geocities.com/formerwebber/0_HP1.html

    Want links in Menu this way:
    link=#000000 vlink=#404080 hoover=#ff0000

    Want links in Contacts this way:
    link=#700000 vlink=#404080 hoover=#ff0000

    Use rel link to page in directory. Can I make this work there or do I need to use the rel link plus have something in the head of each page? Thank You.

    Hello. try -

    This goes in your HEAD

    Code:
    <style>
    a.Menu {
    color: #000000;
    }
    a.Menu:visited {
    color: #404080;
    }
    a.Menu:hover {
    color: #ff0000;
    }
    a.Contacts {
    color: #700000;
    }
    a.Contacts:visited {
    color: #404080;
    }
    a.Contacts:hover {
    color: #ff0000;
    }
    </style>
    Then mark your links like this, links in menu go -

    Code:
    <a href="http://ww.quietdean.com" class="Menu">QuietDean HomePage</a>
    and Contents links go like -

    Code:
    <a href="http://ww.quietdean.com" class="Contents">QuietDean HomePage</a>
    This should do it.
