    Hello again.

    I have merged threads to make this simpler.

    Have you tried the wizard mentioned above? You reported it works, so what is the problem you are experiencing? More details would be great.

    Give me a few minutes to take care of some things and I will look into it. In the meantime make certain that you have javascript enabled in your browser.

    will let you know after I look at it.

    I have tested the pop up maker tool and it works as it should
    (The needed code is displayed in the textbox).

    Either you missed the textbox or you do not have JS enabled.

    Angry !!!

    first of all, i didn't miss the text box. second, i think my browser supports java script. my browser in IE 6.0, but i'm making a template in my own computer.i followed every instruction it says in the wizard( putting the first code in to <HEAD> and </HEAD> and then put second code when i want it). however , every time i press on the link button, and error javascript appears on the left bottom corner of my browser.
    here's part of the HTML of my template:

    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    <!-- Thanks to Nic Wolfe http://fineline.xs.mw -->

    <!-- Begin
    function popUp(URL) {
    day = new Date();
    id = day.getTime();
    eval("page" + id + " = window.open(URL, '" + id + "', 'toolbar=0,scrollbars=0,location=0,statusbar=1,menubar=0,resizable=0,width=700,height=500,left = 50,top = 50');");
    }
    // End -->
    </script>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY>
    <IMG SRC="notice.gif"><a href="javascriptopup('notice1.html')"><u>Site is finally up! But there's a few things you've to know...</u></a>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    wat's the problem here?

    In your function name, the 'u' is uppercase.

    When you cal the function, your 'u' is lowercase.

    Try usiing popUp()

    i found out why it doesn't work la! the file dat opens must be a "url" instead of a filename. so the code must only be used on "real" web pages. THX EVERYBODY FOR YOUR HELP!!!!

    Just to let yall know that I corrected the uppercase (U) and the Pop Up Maker is now fully functional again.
