    Games

I dont know if this the right forum but here is my problem:
I have downloaded a game from another site, and changed the design spec of it. i would like to either
1, upload it and make it playable online,
or 2, upload it and enable it to be downloaded.
    Can you help?

    Would be glad to help.

Is the game designed to be used online? If so, should be easy. What problems are you having?

    Okay -

Zip it up ( www.winzip.com ) so that it doesn't try to run when clicked on.

    Upload it to your webspace.

Link directly to the zipped filename from your webpage. this will allow people to download it when they click on your link.

I would assume that tripod does not allow hotlinking to their servers. If you are going to use their free servers and free bandwidth, they want to show ads so they can pay for the service.

The problem is that tripod knows where the request for the file is coming from, they know it is a site other than the tripod account which is hosting the file, therefore it does not allow the download. This is probably the same for images.
