    Looking for host

    i'm kinda newbie at this.
    looking for a free host.
i want to setup a forum there, so it must support it.
while you recommend, can you give me tips on which forum is easiest and best to setup ?

    thx.

    p.s.
i tried using brinkster and Snitz Forums 2000 v3.3.05
    ( http://forum.snitz.com/specs.asp )
    but:
    1. i found no way to upload the 200 files exsept the manual one by one upload using the file manager . cant upload and open zip and no ftp...
    2. it won't let me upload all the files. i get this msg:
    "
    Finishing File Upload Process...
    Uploading File 1...admin_config_email.asp
--> Scanning File ...Error : Improper use of 'on error resume next'. Please remove.

    0 file(s) uploaded.

The improper use of 'on error resume next' was noted. Comment out the 'on error...' directive of the offending file and reupload it.
    "
i know NOTHING about asp coding. i can't change their code... what to do ?

    thx.

    Snitz is a nice forum!

I have been playing with ASP recently.. it's actually a very nice technology, and has it's uses.

PHP by far is the better language for a BBS.. where as I see ASP / PERL being better for handleing raw data files on a server...

Ohh well, just my .02$ that I'm sure no one wants anywayz
