Script to keep latest upload date of files

I run an online league where the owners upload coaching files every other day or so.
The files are always named the same way such as team#.coa
Is there someone who has something that could be run on a directory that would read the dates of the files uploaded and write them to a chart showing the last date a certain file name was uploaded?
Say team1.coa was uploaded today, this would changes its latest date to today's date.
team2.coa shows on the chart to be uploaded 7/5/07 and it wasnt uploaded today. That date wouldnt change on the chart.
I hope I explained that correctly.
The files run from team1.coa to team119.coa

    Thanks in advance,

I would set it up so that when files get uploaded, you store the file name in a database table. In this same table you could also put a timestamp of when the file was uploaded and anything else you need to associated with the file. This would make it real easy to display any sort of charting.

Thanks for the idea. I just wish I had the knowledge to do that.
