Question I want my web page to look & print like one page but to have only a part of it refres

    Hello,

I am trying to build a website and I have in mind how it should look.
I have found similar pages but I am not sure what they have used to make them.
For example what is that the next pages are using?
Is it frames or tables or something else?
www.ulead.com/ <- try to click on menu. See how the menu does not refresh?

www.theneighborhood.com/small_business/<- try to click on menu. See how the menu does not refresh?

I want my web page to look & print like one page but to have only a part of it refreshing.
How can I accomplice that? If I have to use frames I don't want the sliders to be visible at all but I want to print them in one page. I want it to look like a table but act as frames.

The attached text file has my web site example: example.txt

Frames and FRAMEborder=0 is what you want.

BUT, it will be difficult unless the page is small enough to not require the browser to override your settings to place the side scroll bars on the page. (There's got to be a way to keep it from doing that - I'm unaware of it.)

    Thank Benzden ,

I have tried this but boarders still appear (Due to size). And they are printing as different pages for example (three frames, three pages).

I want to be able print all the different elements in one page and to refresh only part of the viewed page because I will be using nested DHTML menus and I donít want to refresh them every time the page refreshes. Please look my (example.txt) to see the layout I have in mind for my website if you havenít done so already.

Upload your example.txt as example.htm and provide the URL to that page. That'll be a whole lot more helpful than having to do all that myself just to get an idea of what the problem is - that's the usual way of getting help for web site related problems -- a picture is worth a thousand words.
