signatures
How do I get signatures enabled for my account? Do I need to have an account for greater than some number of days? Or do I need greater than x number of posts?

Re: signatures
currently 5 posts enable the sig option, those that post fluff in order to post links or sigs find themselves removed.

Re: signatures
Dave,
Thank you very much for explaining the activation of sigs. I'll do my best to only post quality content.

Re: signatures
Just to clarify the rules, once enabled a signature file can have up to 2 links right? Just wondering why my sig was removed and replaced with a link to the sig rules.

Re: signatures
If I recall correctly you had 3 links.

Re: signatures
Wondering why no signature allowed, why no link whatsoever in the post allowed.
If I need feedback, if I'm offering something free like some link exchange possibility, if simply i want people leave a comment on my works..... how to???
I agree to stop spamming but in this way admin stop the communication.
Regards
Corrado

Re: signatures
I just noticed that this forum uses the "nofollow" tag on signature links. Doesn't seem very fair as it's the forum users that write the content for the forum. The least that they deserve would be a link back to their site.

Re: signatures
The nofollow will be removed at some point in time.I have been spending lots of time cleaning up links, once this is done and I can keep a handle on things I will remove it.

Re: signatures
I had not yet got to the sig links in my link cleaning but decided to take a closer look at those. It does not look like the signatures have been abused and I see no reason to keep the nofollow up, it has now been removed.

Re: signatures
what will be happening with the regular links in forum posts as far as the nofollow goes? I notice a lot of un answered questions in this forum that I can definatley help out in, but it would be nice to get a credit link for helping these people. great forum, and looking forward to staying around.

Re: signatures
1.6 Use of the AHFB2000.com Webmaster Forums for the purpose of self promotion is prohibited.
I am having problems with the signature no follow right now. The script that places it in the posts also places it in the signature. I will continue to monitor the signatures and will remove the nofollow manually as needed.

Re: signatures
When I look at my old sigs then they still have the nofollow tag. Is this because you publish all the threads instead of having dynamic threads?
I'll see if my sig in this newer entry has the nofollow tag.

Re: signatures
I tried doing 2 more posts on this forum. Both my entries still have the nofollow tag in the sig urls.

Re: signatures
hey, at least you're allowed to have a signature, even after 5 posts..still not allowed to have a sig at all, might be waiting on a cronjob or something, who knows.
I think they are working on fixing the nofollow in signatures, you will probably have to wait.
