    Question Forms Email information

    Hello

    I created a form that when users hit the submit button I want the information e-mailed to me. When I tried the form myself a blank e-mail page poped up. then if I hit send and I check my e-mail the e-mail is blank. What do I do?

    Here's the code:

    <DIV align="center">

    <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="mailto:honeybees@bookluv.com">

    Life Science - 15.95 + 3.00 (Shipping) = 18.95
    <BR>
    <BR>

    <B>Shipping Address:</B>
    <BR>
    Name:<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="name">

    Address:<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="address" SIZE="50">
    <BR>

    State: <INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="state" SIZE=2 MAXLENGTH=2>

    Zipcode: <INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="zipcode" SIZE="10" MAXLENGTH="10">
    <HR>
    <B>Payment:</B>
    <BR>
    Money Order<INPUT TYPE="radio" NAME="payment" VALUE="money order">

    Check <INPUT TYPE="radio" NAME="payment" VALUE="check">

    Paypal <INPUT TYPE="radio" NAME="payment" VALUE="paypal">
    <br>
    I can take a debit or credit card through paypal.com. After you submit this form go to paypal.com and pay honeybees@bookluv.com 15.95 + 3.00 shipping for a total of 18.95.
    <BR>
    <BR>
    <BR>
    <BR>
    <INPUT TYPE="submit">

    <INPUT TYPE="reset">
    </FORM>
    </DIV>

    Please help,

    mailto: forms are unreliable. I suggest you get hold of a script to send your email. Your hosts probably has an email script on the server already, have a look at the FAQ for your host.

    Well as put, PHP script is what you need. However, finding it or writing it can be a pain in the A**. I recently found a site that has all of that. It also has assistance in many other areas. Here is the site:
    http://codewalkers.com/tutorials.php?show=10
    Code Walkers should help with the script needs. If your server does not have it.

    I assume from that comment that you don't have a website?
    If you do, you are being unfair to yourself - you understand enough of it to get a web hosting server to display your site, even if you've only used a site-building wizard, which is all you'll need to do if your host supplies a mail script.

    The same applies to the previous posters.
