    hovering on links.. plz help

    how can I get different effects when you hover over a link.. Ive seen borders, the words spelled backwards, and pictures behind the acuall link pop up.. any help would be appreciated.. like if theres a site I can learn from or whatever

    all of those are very different things. But if you want something like a different background color, or the link to change colors heres this:

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    A:link {text-decoration: underline; color: blue}
    A:visited {text-decoration: underline; color: blue}
    A:hover {text-decoration: underline; color: red}
    -->
    </style>

    You can add other stuff say border or background may be on QuietDean's signiture for his CSS site. My guess may be to add a "; border: 1px solid blue" or something like that after 'red'.

    The other affects you want can be acheived with javascript rollover affects dealing with different images. Just type 'rollover' on any search engine and stuff should come up.
